About The Barn Wood Shop
From Spanish land grant to artists' haven, the historic barn that houses The Barn Woodshop has a rich past. Built in 1885, it found its true calling in 1929 when wood craftsman Martin Nelson established a furniture repair business, beginning a legacy of excellence. Passing the torch through generations of apprenticeships—from Nelson to WWII veteran Albert Kieninger, then to his son Tom, and now to Tom's son Luke—The Barn Woodshop continues to deliver exceptional craftsmanship, blending history with skill.
